November was a tough month on everyone here in Northern California. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the Camp fire. For such a heartbreak to touchdown so close to home, it is reason for reflection. River Oaks is thankful for family, for health, for life, for the every day enjoyments we sometimes lose perspective on. God Bless.
The rain and cold is upon here at the club. River Oaks will be monitoring the weather closely and doing its best to keep the course in shape while battling the elements. River Oaks asks for your help in keeping our course on the ascent by replacing your divots, repairing ball marks, disposing of garbage and cigarettes in a proper area as well as keeping the carts at least 30 yards away from the green. We thank you for your help in keeping our course up to par.
Trivia Nights will continue every Thursday night aside from Holidays. It has been a huge success thus far and ROGC hopes that we can grow it even more. We invite you out to the Club for great food, drink and good times. River Oaks offers food specials and/or drink specials and prizes every week. Come see what you’ve been missing out on! All ages welcome.

Welcome to November River Oaks
October was a beautiful month with cooling temperatures, leaves changing colors and greens that came back nicely from September’s aeration. November is here, and we look forward to a beautiful Fall making River Oaks a colorful playground for all.
November marks the start of our 7:30am first tee start as well as our 5:45pm cart return. Cool nights heighten the possibility of frost and to create less delay, River Oaks has moved its first time to 7:30am. As Daylight savings comes November 4th we will also be asking for carts to be in at 5:45pm as daylight will be a factor.
River Oaks will continue to offer our tier Green Fee system which kicks discounts to golfers every couple of hours. Starting at 12:10 all seniors are offered the great price of $25 with a cart 7 days a week. Come enjoy the warmer afternoons with golf and spectacular scenery.
Thursday nights River Oaks is now open with its Full Bar and Dinner Menu as well as optional Trivia. The new addition has proved a great success to provide fun and entertainment to the whole family. All ages are welcome. Come enjoy all River Oaks has to offer.

Welcome to October River Oaks
September brought a beautiful month to River Oaks Golf Club. Leaves are starting to fall, and colors are starting to gain brilliance. Let’s get you up to speed on what to look forward to in October.
With the heat of the day and cool nights, ROGC was able to push its aeration ahead of schedule. We are only a couple weeks since the punch and already seeing a vast improvement on the putting surface. Gary Toledo, Nick Podesta and the rest of the Crew have done a great job in bringing them back at an accelerated rate.
October will be our last month of the year for Tee times prior to 7:30. ROGC will resume a 7:30 opening come November 1st.
October will bring a new form of entertainment to River Oaks Golf Club. Starting October 18th, ROGC will be hosting Bogies and Brain Busters. River Oaks will have a small 9-Hole event leading into Trivia Night! We have hired DJ Trivia to host game nights here at the Club following a little Golf. Tee off at 3:00, test your knowledge at 5:30! Come join the fun!
River Oaks Golf Club continues to push forward with small but lasting changes to better our great piece of grass. We thank everyone for continued feedback and support as we push River Oaks Golf Club closer and closer to where it should be.
Welcome to June River Oaks
May was a great month here at the Club. Beautiful weather was instrumental in pushing our Golf Course over the hump. We are very happy with our current conditions and progress. River Oaks has many additions heading into June and the summer months, so let us get you up to date.
River Oaks is pleased to be starting up a Women’s Clinic to take place Wednesday mornings Prior to ladies play beginning at 9:30. The Clinic will take place from 8:30-9:00am for $15/person. Walk-ins are welcome.
River Oaks is also proud to announce a Summer Junior Camp Series. The Camp Dates are June 19-21st, July 18th-20th and August 15th-17th. Each Camp is $60/Junior. The Camp will introduce Juniors to the great game of golf with lessons in fundamentals, etiquette and having a blast on the golf course! Head Professional, Erick Justesen and Golf Professional, Nick Podesta will be heading up the Clinic. Please help spread the word to make this Summer one for the Kids.
River Oaks is also in the works of putting on its 2nd homemade event on our Countries Birthday. Our Independence Day 4-person Scramble is Open for Registration at $260/Team. We encourage everyone to come join us for Competition, BBQ, Games and Prizes this 4th of July.
River Oaks Golf Club has come a long way since the beginning of the year and our Course is looking better and better by the day. Starting June 8th our rates will be adjusted as we move to a Prime-Time Rate and a Twilight rate as we stretch out our hours. The Prime-Time Rates will be $35 walking with our current $10 cart fee for Standard play. Our Senior Prime-Time Rate will be $30 Walking and $40 with a cart. Our Twilight Rate, starting at 2:00pm, will be $25 Walking and $35 with a cart. Our Twilight Senior Rate will be $20 walking and $30 with a cart. With these rates we will be extending our hours in June to allowing bookings at 7:00am and we will ask carts to be in at 7:00pm. Walking until dark is permitted.

Welcome to May River Oaks
April was a fantastic month for all of us here at River Oaks Golf Club. The
weather was a huge help in bringing River Oaks back to beauty. With the
warmer weather, the course is much closer to its full potential. April
marked the end of our highly discounted Membership Offerings and River Oaks
will be coming out with a restructured Membership Program shortly. May
will bring warmer and longer days providing more time in the sunshine for
fun, festivities and great Golf. We are very excited to welcome another
month of improvement.
Things to look forward to in May include Mother’s Day, where River Oaks
will pay all our hard-working Mom’s Cart fees. Also, River Oaks will
provide the same discount to all Veterans on Memorial Day. River Oaks Golf
Club hopes everyone will come out and enjoy these Great Holidays with a
little golf, food and fun.
River Oaks Golf Club is excited for the direction the Golf Club is heading
and will continue to work hard on making the Course something to be proud
of. We will continue our Current Rates for the time being and look forward

April
We saw a great deal of rain in March that facilitated growth and steady improvements to this beautiful land. We are very pleased to feel the weather warming up as our grass is growing at a rapid pace and we are approaching the finish line of getting our greens completely healed. March was a productive month for River Oaks and we are sure April will bring the best changes we’ve seen so far.
River Oaks is pleased to welcome the addition of Horseshoe Pits, located in front of the patio for your pleasure. We invite everyone to enjoy, relax and have a post round refreshment while throwing some shoes. Please ask any of our friendly staff to provide the shoes and enjoy!
River Oaks is entering its last month of the highly discounted Membership offerings. If you have been on the fence, April is your month to pull the trigger. As the course continues to improve we will be reexamining our current offerings.
As April is expected to be the final push for our greens, we will continue to offer the current green fees of the $25 Standard rate and a $20 Senior rate. River Oaks will be adding a cart fee Starting April 2nd at $10/rider. We hope this will encourage walking and provide further improvements to the Golf Course.

Another cold one is in the books. We saw little moister in February and are looking forward to a bit more rain in March to keep this course going in a positive direction. River Oaks had a very productive month welcoming our newest Members as wells filling the shop with product for everyone to enjoy. It was also a productive month for the course on the maintenance side as well. River Oaks welcomes March as another stepping stone to Greatness.
River Oaks is ready for Membership and all those who wish to take advantage of our current pricing. Our Presidential (Family), VP (Spouse included) and Executive (Monday-Friday) Memberships were designed to be affordable and take care of all who have been so loyal and patient while River Oaks Golf Club comes back to life. Our Golf Shop has a new look and River Oaks is happy to bring you merchandise from Acushnet Company. All your Titleist, Pinnacle and FootJoy needs are now at your fingertips. We are here to make sure that you are prepared once you step on that 1st Tee.
River Oaks Golf Club continues with its aggressive herbicide and fertilization plan. River Oaks will continue to offer the current rate of $25 with a cart all day as well as the Senior rate of $20 with a cart all day until further notice.

Greetings from all of us at River Oaks
While January wasn’t the ideal month weather wise for golf, River Oaks was hard at work to ensure your 2018 Golf and Club experience be a great one. There will be many new additions and a greater availability to equipment, food, beverage and overall experience at River Oaks for the 2018 season.
We are currently in the works of refurbishing our website to make bookings, memberships, instruction and overall participation more readily and easily available. River Oaks will also be introducing a new product line to the Golf Shop to make sure you’re prepared on your way to the first tee.
River Oaks now offers a list of different Membership Packages formulated to meet the specific needs of any individual looking to make River Oaks their home away from home. From our Presidential Package that offers full family membership to our Junior Memberships that provide a cost effective way to keep our children learning and growing the wonderful game of golf. Please ask any of our friendly staff for information on Memberships. We are happy to help.
We have established a Clinic that will take place every other Saturday; our next will be held on the 10th of February. These Clinics focus on a wide array of golfing topics. Our January sessions helped with Warmup, Pre-Shot Routine and the Driver. Our New Head Professional, Erick Justesen is eager to help anyone with a desire for improvement.
River Oaks has partnered with Acushnet Company in order to provide golf balls and other much needed merchandise to suit your golfing needs. River Oaks now has the capabilities of offering discounted prices on all Titleist and Footjoy products.
Our maintenance staff continues to work long and hard, fighting the elements. Our greens are still our biggest struggle in getting River Oaks back in action. With time and sunshine we will overcome.
With the current shape of the course being our main focus and providing an enjoyable experience to every golfer in mind, our February fees will remain at $25. Welcome to the New Look for River Oaks Golf Club. We hope everyones 2018 has been a great one so far! We are continuing to work diligently and effectively on our course as well as our inside services to make every day a memorable one. We invite you to browse our new site and see our New Membership format, Tournament offerings and our new line of Products in the Golf Shop as well as the Bar and Grill. We are here to make your River Oaks experience a great one!
River Oaks is ready to set you up with all your Titleist, Footjoy and Pinnacle needs!! We are working hard to make sure all of our guests have access to top of the line products like the New 2018 Titleist Velocity golf ball that comes with a Free Infused Water Bottle!! Just ask John to help you out, you’ll be in great hands!!
We have new additions in the Bar in Grill such as Coors Light Tall Cans as well as Bud Light Tall Cans. We also now have Coors Light, Blue Moon, 805, Modelo and Sierra on Draft as well as other new menu items!!
Our next Saturday Clinic will take place February 24th from 12-2pm. It will be a day on the Range with Head Professional, Erick Justesen. The Clinic will focus on General Instruction to meet the needs of individuals willing to participate. We hope to see you there!
